Workshop at Agios Petros Kinourias (April 2024)
April 1, 2024Dr Eirini Anastasaki and Savvina Toufexi, MSc participated in ΧII European Congress of Entomology held in Heraklion, Crete 16-20/10/2023. The abstract entitled “Revealing the chemical ecology of Curculio elephas (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) through its electrophysiological responses to chestnut plant volatiles” was posted in the session: “Multitrophic Interactions Instect, Microbial, Host Plants”.
Dr Panagiotis Milonas, Dr Dimitrios Papachristos from BPI and Dr Dimitrios Avtzis from ELGO-DEMETER, members of the advisory board, were members of the Scientific Committee and attended the congress. Dr Panagiotis Milonas was the chair in the session: Biological Control and Biopesticides, Biological Control of Orchard and Vineyard Pests. Dr Dimitrios Avtzis was the chair in the session: “Urban and Forest Entomology”.
Τα μέλη της συμβουλευτικής ομάδας, οι Δρ Παναγιώτης Μυλωνάς και Δρ Δημήτριος Παπαχρήστος από το ΜΦΙ και ο Δρ Δημήτριος Αβτζής από τον ΕΛΓΟ-ΔΗΜΗΤΡΑ ήταν μέλη της Επιστημονικής Επιτροπής του Συνεδρίου και συμμετείχαν επίσης στις εργασίες. Ο Δρ Παναγιώτης Μυλωνάς ήταν ο πρόεδρος της θεματικής ενότητας Biological Control and Biopesticides, Biological Control of Orchard and Vineyard Pests.
